One of my friends have a question:
Is it easy or difficult to play 'A Kind Of Magic'? It seems somewhat simple bass-line though.
Many answers given by Japanese guests told that actually it's suitable for beginners. However, some says its bass-line has a unique rhythm and needs attention a bit. If you've played this song once, tell me your own feeling!

The bass-solo at the middle of this song is one of my favorite. It's very speedy and melodic, isn't it?
My friend who played that part told me it's not so difficult because the position of the left-hand is fixed at 10 - 12 fret and you use only a few sounds. (Sorry, maybe I could not translate his words well.) But its pattern changes frequently, so you should practice hard.
Moreover he said it's a bit difficult to play at 3'14" - 3'18".
By the way, does anyone know if John uses his own fingers or a pick on this song?
