I've found the following sentences on a website about Harry Nilsson:
"According to Andy Davis, Queen's song "You're My Best Friend" was written by John Deacon as an ode to Harry Nilsson. "
If you have something to confirm this, please let me know. I think Mr. Andy Davis is a writer of 'Record Collectors' (I saw his name on the Opposition article), but we fans already know that this pretty song was dedicated to his wife (and coming child) as John himself have told before, don't we?
