The Wal Bass - Amplifier: Mark wrote me his comment about that pic of last week (thanks Mark for your e-mail):

i noticed in the picture of john playing the WAL bass he is also using a different amplifier (a Trace Elliot) this is not what he normally used. my guess is that he borrowed everything he used on that day. at the time, john used speaker boxes with four 12" speakers but in the picture, the amplifier has four 10" speakers.
