The Week In The History
10.16(1966)[15]: New Opposition played at Municipal Hall, Eden Mills.
10.21(1966)[15] : New Opposition played at Leicester Casino Ballroom.
10.23(1966)[15]: New Opposition won all the heats in the 'Midland Beat Contest',
gaining a place in the finals that were eventually cancelled and abandoned.
10.21(1967)[16] : The Opposition played at Braunstone Wycliffe Youth Club.
10.23(1967)[16] : The Opposition played at London Road Casino, Leicester.
Although I myself couldn't win, some of my guests have enjoyed the show (Queen Live at the Bowl) on the web. Can't see John so much (as always) expect for AOBTD, but they say that its quality (sound & vision) is really nice.
