• 12.1(1967)[16] : The Opposition played at Roundhills Youth Centre, Thurmaston.

(Thanks AliAli for this comment ;-) ) I the book says John went to Bali in Autumn 1983 when in Munich when the band were finalising the Works Album, having recorded most of it in LA. The author starts the chapter on Bali by talking about tensions between the band members and temptations of Munich. It was at this point john told Ratty he was heading for Bali...
